Sports Training Management System | ECG Monitoring

🏋️ Sports Training Management System

Based on ECG monitoring — protecting the athlete's heart

Essence of the Method

Based on more than 20 thousand practical ECG studies of athletes of various qualifications during training and competitions (including telemetric), a sports training management system has been developed that eliminates overload of the heart muscle during sports activities.

Application in Sports

The ECG monitoring method is used in the training of elite athletes and in the rehabilitation of such a disease as myocardial dystrophy.

Theory of Muscle Contraction as a Basis for Improving the Process of Athletes Training
Theory of Muscle Contraction as a Basis for Improving the Process of Athletes Training
📄 Scientific article, 2018
The article presents the historical aspects of the development of the theory of muscle contraction. The contradictions arising at different stages of its study are shown. A number of key scientific discoveries identifying the nature of the mechanism of muscle contraction are highlighted. A supposition is suggested about the fallacy of the contemporary idea of the basics of the muscular contraction apparatus. The author's approach to rethinking the modern theory of muscle contraction is proposed.

Theory of the Pump Function of the Heart in the Content of the Discipline
Theory of the Pump Function of the Heart in the Content of the Discipline "Physiology and Theory of Sports"
📄 Scientific article, 2017
The article proposes a method of enriching the content of the discipline "Physiology and Theory of Sports" with new scientific knowledge about the pump function of the heart based on the competence-based approach. The authors have established a previously unknown mechanism of the pump function of the heart, carried out by the fifth air chamber of the heart — the pericardial cavity. A model of the pump function of the heart based on the theory of piston pumps is presented.

Classification of Electrocardiogram Changes in a Healthy Person at Rest and During Physical Exertion
📄 Scientific article, 2013
The article presents the author's classification of ECG changes in a healthy person at rest and during physical exertion (from 0 to 35 points). The classification is based on studies of more than 4,000 people, including 32 champions of the Olympic Games, World, European and USSR championships. The effectiveness of the classification in pedagogical and coaching practice for managing the training process is shown.

Biopedagogy and Cardiac Activity
📄 Scientific article, 2010
The article presents the concept of biopedagogy as a rational combination of pedagogical influence and biological control to obtain maximum training effect without compromising the health of athletes. The 5-chamber structure of the heart and the role of the pericardium as the main mechanism ensuring effective filling of chambers with blood are substantiated. The author's classification of ECG changes during muscle load (from 0 to 35 points), created on the basis of studies of more than 20 thousand athletes, is presented.

Under the Fear of Death
📰 Media publication, 2002
In 1995, doctors diagnosed wrestler Buvaisar Saitiev with "Arrhythmia, myocardial dystrophy" and banned training: "Otherwise you will die." However, Professor A.I. Zavyalov returned the athlete not only to normal life, but also to big sport, taking full personal responsibility for the life and health of the wrestler. Buvaisar Saitiev became a 3-time Olympic champion.

🏆 Results of Application

  • 1983 — victory of the "unknown" A. Kurlovich over the Olympic champion in heavyweight weightlifting A. Pisarenko with world records in the total and clean and jerk (460 and 260 kg respectively). Subsequently, A. Kurlovich became a 2-time Olympic champion.
  • 2008 — Olympic Games in Beijing: 3 gold medals in wrestling (Academy of Wrestling named after D.G. Mindiashvili, Krasnoyarsk).
  • 2010 — Russian Championship in Greco-Roman and freestyle wrestling: 3 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze medals of the Krasnoyarsk wrestling school.

📊 ECG Changes Classification

Author's classification of ECG changes in healthy individuals at rest and during physical exertion (from 0 to 35 points):

  • Rest (0–12 points): 8 states — from normal to overstrain
  • Load (13–35 points): 7 states — from no fatigue to overstrain

The classification is based on studies of more than 4,000 people, including 32 champions of the Olympic Games, World, European and USSR championships.
